50% off a single Movie Rental on Google Play

Google Play has a lot of good promotions running at the moment. If you like to rent movies, especially new releases, this promotion is a good way to get one for a more reasonable price. Pay attention to the slideshows of the various offers inside the Google Play store, whether you are using an Android device or a Web Browser. This is how the promotion teaser looks:

Once you touch or click on that, you will get a pop-up that shows you the terms and conditions of the offer. All you have to do is press “Continue” and it will be added to your account. You don’t have to enter a coupon code. When you rent a movie, the discount will be applied automatically. You have until 3/17/16 to do this. The usual digital movie rental terms apply (you have 30 days to watch it, otherwise you lose it and you get no refund).

Here’s a screenshot of that:

Star Wars won’t come out by then, but there are plenty of other big movies to watch, for example, The Martian, Spectre, Spotlight, Ant-Man, Jurassic World, etc.

PS: the hot new “Mad Max Fury Road” is not available for rental, but you can purchase it for $10 in digital HD (it’s on sale).
