If you are looking for a GSM plan or if you have a GSM phone and you may be interested in changing carriers later on, there’s a pretty good low-risk offer at the moment. The new H20 Wireless 3-in-1 Smart SIM card is on sale for just one penny (that would be $0.01) at Amazon.com. As of the time of writing this is not part of the Add-On program, so if you are a Prime member you get it delivered for free! Otherwise you need a $35+ order (as usual) for free shipping.
VERY IMPORTANT: in recent weeks H20 Wireless changed their system and only the new Smart SIM cards activate. Make sure you the one you buy is a Smart SIM card otherwise you will have delays in activation. The new smart cards do most of the dirty work during activation. Plus they come in a 3-in-1 configuration so you can use them in phones that take nano or micro or regular size SIMs. To cut a long story short, if it doesn’t say “smart” on the packaging, don’t buy it!
