If you are part of the Starbucks Rewards program, there’s a number of Bonus Stars promotion running in the next few days. You can use the Starbucks app or a registered plastic gift card linked to your account. You don’t have to manually opt-in for any of these offers, they happen automatically.
The best promotion runs from March 31 until April 6 in 2015, and it has two parts. Before 11am local time, you earn 3 bonus stars (in addition to the one regular star) on any handcrafted espresso. After 11am local time, you earn 3 bonus starts on any lunch item. Lunch items are bistro boxes, salads, sandwiches, paninis and wraps, but not pastries or bagels or desserts. If you are planning to get lunch there, make sure you go in around 10:30am to 10:45am, get your drink, and after 11am buy your lunch item. So you end up with six bonus stars plus two regular stars.
If you are traveling or picking up people from airports, between April 3-12 in 2015, you earn 3 bonus stars with any purchase of $10 or more. This offer is only good at participating US airport and Travel Plaza Starbucks locations.
Also note, some Starbucks stores send you an email to complete a short survey after a visit. That’s worth a bonus star. The surveys are typically short, so that’s another way to pick up more stars.
One more thing, not a bonus reward, but it’s a half off sale, after 2pm local time, between March 31st and April 4th in 2015, you can get 50% off any Evolution Fresh handcrafted smoothie. Not the bottled ones, but the ones the baristas can make for you. Evolution is super-expensive, so the half off sale is a good way to try them without paying crazy prices.
