Prime Pantry Credit returns to Amazon Shopping Cart Slow Shipping Options

IF you are an Amazon Prime member, and you make a purchase, and you are willing to take the slow shipping option (instead of the 2-day shipping), you may get a $6 Prime Pantry credit instead of the usual $1 eBooks/digital-content credit. This appears in the shopping cart automatically. It partially depends on the items and the price in your shopping cart, so you may not get it. It may or may not be targeted.

So what I’m trying to say is that you may or may not get it. You can always test to see if you are eligible by adding things to your shopping cart and going to the Checkout page. If you are eligible, you will see something like this above.

Even though Prime Pantry is only available to Prime members, Amazon still charges a $6 delivery fee per Pantry box. So with the promotion above, you are countering the shipping fee with a purchase credit.

But that’s not all. There’s also another promotion running, if you buy five items from a long list of eligible Household Items, and enter coupon code PANTRYMAR at checkout, you will get free shipping.

I do not know if the two offers are stackable. I’m guessing they probably are, since the former is a purchase credit while the latter is a free shipping coupon. But I haven’t done this combination yet, so I am only speculating.
