Refrigerated Perfect Bars arrive at Amazon!

The protein and nutrition bar market is very competitive. It’s a cacophony of choices at the supermarket aisles, with companies big and small, mass-market and health-food-crazed competing. So someone finally figured a way to make another nutritional bar BUT have the store shelf without competition…

… make it a REFRIGERATED BAR!

That’s what the San Diego based “Perfect Bars” are. I found them at Trader Joe and Whole Foods, so if you haven’t had them before, Trader Joe is the way to go, they go for $2 each but they only have two flavors available. Whole Foods has more flavors but they are $3+ each. Try one. It is a dense and compressed bar, akin to RX Bars , not fluffy and airy like the mass-market bars.

And now, they have arrived at Amazon in ten different flavors, available as 24-packs. Their current price is $64.56 but they have a 15% off clip-on coupon, dropping them to around $55, making them around $2.30 per bar. The shipping estimate is 3-5 weeks.

These are indeed shipped with refrigeration. Per the product description at Amazon:

” Stored and shipped refrigerated, and stays fresh for one week on the go at room temperature.”

The company is also answering questions in the Amazon Q&A section. Per multiple customers who received these, they ship in cold packs.
