If you have an eligible Samsung mobile device (smartphone or tablet), you may qualify for a free monthly e-book from the Amazon Kindle store. As with many things Samsung, there is an ecosystem twist to it. You have to download the Amazon Kindle app from Samsung’s own app store. This is a plus if you have an S-Pen device, because Amazon made this particular version work with the S-Pen (eg highlight text or blazing fast page turns).
Anyway, if eligible, they have four more ebooks to pick from during December 2015. As usual, you get one of those four for free. If you want more than one, you have to pay for the second and later. You have until December 31 (2015) to make a choice, but don’t wait until the last minute!
The choices for December 2015 are:

- “From the Cradle” by Voss and Edwards
- “Crimes Against” by Steve McHugh
- “Rapture’s Edge” by J.T. Geissinger
TIP #1: If you are not certain whether you are eligible, there is a simple way to find out. Install the Kindle app from the Galaxy app store, logon to your Amazon account and locate the Samsung Book Deals section in the app’s left hand side menus. If eligible, each book should have a price of $0. If you don’t see a $0 price, do not buy – you will be charged! (you can easily reverse that automatically by going to amazon.com/myk but still, no need for preventable hassle).
TIP #2: If you are part of the monthly Kindle Unlimited subscription, you can borrow most of these featured ebooks for free.
TIP #3: this offer is stackable with the Kindle First promotion for Prime members. You can do both. They are not linked in a way. Unlike Kindle First that offers brand new e-books, most of the ones featured in the Samsung Book Deals have been around for a while, so they have a longer review profile, making a decision on which one to pick easier (if you like to use review profiles to aid your decision making process that is).
