A 34oz tea press (the lid is the press plunger), two 10oz tea cups, and two non-metal stirring spoons. The tea press (teapot) and the tea cups are made of borosilicate glass, stronger than regular glass, but it’s still glass, so don’t treat it like steel 🙂

The spoons are not metal, which is nice for glass or porcelain teapots, because no matter how careful you are, you always end up “ringing the bell”. And you don’t want to ruin your teapot because of a darned metal spoon 🙂

If you love making tea, this is hard to resist! A 34oz Bodum tea press for just $25! The press allows you to stop brewing by pressing down the plunger, so you don’t have to remove the infuser before you start drinking. And once you finish, you can add more water and rebrew without the messiness of removing/adding the infuser with wet tea leaves.

You can buy as many as you like during this sale at Amazon, it is available in black or red. Per the description there, the glass is borosilicate (tougher than it looks but don’t headbang with it!), the strainer and plunger are polycarbonate, and the lid is stainless steel. 34oz is just a bit more than four standard cups (8oz cups).

If you prefer a stainless steel infuser instead, they have that as a different model going for $34. Both are presses with plungers integrated into the lid, so if you prefer a solid lid without a plunger, these two are not it.

If you are a fan of the Bodum brand and brewing tea, there’s a new temptation sale for you. The 34oz Bodum Assam French Tea Press is now on sale for just $25 at the Kohls website in four different colors. Kohls charges shipping unless you buy more items to reach the free shipping threshold. However, if you are an Amazon Prime member or plan to place just a $35+ order over there, they appear to have price-matched Kohls for around $25, and you can buy as many as you like at this price. It appears however that only the black handle is on sale at Amazon (which in my opinion looks nicer than the pastely colors).

NOTE: this is a French Press tea pot. It has a mechanism that presses the tea leaves down, not unlike coffee presses. It should not be confused with a standard teapot and infuser combination, although they obviously do the same thing… *spoiler alert* … they brew tea 🙂
