YMMV: $5 off promo code from Kohls

If you are part of the Kohls emailing list or Rewards program, check your emails! You may find a new promotion for Kohls. A coupon that gets you $5 off a purchase either in-store or online. This is unconditional $5 off. So you could use it on a $5.01 item or anything more expensive. The promo code appears individualized, so don’t give it to other people if you plan on using it. The promotion runs June 29 until the end of day on July 5 in 2015.

In parallel with that, they have a coupon that gets you 15% off and this coupon expires July 9 in 2015.

Eligible items must be sold by Amazon.com, not by the marketplace sellers over there. There is no expiration date mentioned on that page (or I didn’t find it) but it is a limited time offer. June 21-27: 100pk Lipton Tea for $3 (or $2.50 with coupon)

For the week of June 21-27 (2015) at Walgreens stores, you can get a 100 pack of Lipton tea bags for $3. This is the sale price without coupons. However, in the Sunday papers there will be a 50c off coupon, which will bring the price down to $2.50. That’s about 2.5c per tea bag!

Of course you can beat that price if you go to a Dollar Store or at Walmart supermarkets where you may be able to find 100pks of tea for around $1. Of course they are going to be generic or unnamed brands, versus Lipton.

Instacart and Smart&Final: $5 off and free delivery for 1st order

The Smart and Final (S&F) weekly ad for the week of June 17-23 in 2015 has a co-promotion between Instacart and Smart and Final. Your first order at Instacart from S&F gets free shipping and also gets $5 off your order total when you use coupon code SMART at Instacart. There is no mention of an expiration date for the coupon, so I don’t know. You place the order through Instacart which unfortunately has an “asshole website”, it won’t let you see anything unless you login or create an account.

June 11-20 (after 12pm): 25% off Iced and Javiva drinks

With the temperatures going up, Peet’s Coffee stores are jumping in on the iced coupon game. Between June 11-20 in 2015, after 12pm local time, you can get 25% off iced beverages and Javiva blended drinks. Javiva is a new name for their Freddo drinks, think along the lines of Frappuccinos. You can print the coupon or show it on your mobile device or mention it to the cashier there. You can use it as many times as you like. The usual restrictions apply, you can use it at “real” Peet’s stores, not the ones in supermarkets or airports or other such locations.

Starbucks: 25% on Home Brewing (Rewards members start early)

For all shoppers, Starbucks has a 25% off Home Brewing sales event between April 21-27 in 2015 at their brick and mortar stores. This covers brewing equipment along with coffees (whole bean or ground, not made drinks) and teas.

However, if you are part of their Rewards program, you don’t have to wait! The sale for you starts now until April 21st. You need to show your Rewards card or Starbucks app. Not only that, but you can also shop online at their website by using coupon code SAVEEARLY over there.

It is free for anyone to join the Starbucks Rewards program, so if you are interested in this offer, for example, you saw a nice coffee maker you like at 25% off, you can just sign up for the Rewards and take advantage of the discounts.

At Starbucks, between April 14-20 in 2015, you can get half off a breakfast sandwich if you received an email or app inbox message from Starbucks telling you you are eligible for this offer. You show the barista the 4-digit promo code that activates the promotion. This promotion can only be used once during this promotional period. Since they recently added a couple of new breakfast sandwiches, this is a lower risk way to try them out without using up your earned Rewards on them. Save those for things you already know you like 🙂
