Starbucks has sent out an email with yet another offer for its Rewards members. This promotion runs between August 4-10 in 2015 and you can use it as many time as you like. For every transaction of $10 or more, you will earn 4 bonus stars (in addition to the standard star). The $10+ amount has to be on a single transaction, not over time. So in the next few days, a lot of coworkers will be “volunteering” to make a Starbucks run 🙂 You have to be targeted for this offer, check your email or Starbucks app to see if it is there. If you are a Starbucks rewards member, check your emails or app inboxes for another new promotion. This one runs from July 14–20 in 2015, and it is very specific, get 4 bonus stars (in addition to the regular one star per purchase) when you buy the Caramel Ribbon Crunch or Smores frappuccinos. This new Starbucks Rewards promotion focuses on purchasing packaged coffee products at either their local stores or participating grocery stores or the Starbucks website. You have to redeem the star codes from the specially marked eligible packaged coffee products online between July 10-19 in 2015. Three packages earn you 15 bonus stars. Two of them get you 8 bonus stars and one package gets you just 3 bonus stars. As you can see, the more you buy the more rewards you earn. You can only use this offer once during this promotional period. I haven’t personally done this type of a promotion before, so I can’t tell you what to expect.

If you are part of the Starbucks Rewards program, check your emails or inboxes. You may be eligible for a new offer, running July 7-13 in 2015, that gets you six bonus stars on the purchase of Lunch Items. For the purposes of this promotion, lunch items are defined as you can see in the screenshot below:

Note that you don’t have to buy these at “lunch time”, any time of the day works. The rewards are triggered by the eligible item, not the time of the day. You can use the offer as many times as you like during this promotion. You still earn the usual one star per transaction. Needless to say, this is a pretty good deal if you like their menu. Essentially you are getting half a reward item!

You don’t have to opt-in but make sure you are eligible for the promotion (email from Starbucks or Inbox in the various Starbucks apps).

Starbucks continues its Rewards attach in this summer with yet another promotion. This runs June 23-29 in 2015 and goes like this: if you purchase three Frappuccino blended drinks during this period, you will receive 8 Bonus Stars at the end of this promotional period. This is a “challenge” type thing, you can only use it once during this promotion and you will receive the bonus stars by July 9. You don’t have to manually opt-in. You still earn the usual one star per purchase.

Please note that some of these offers may be targeted, so always check your email or your Starbucks apps to make sure you are eligible for these promotions. I have no way of knowing how many people get offered these.

Starbucks continues its charm offensive with bonus stars on Rewards Members. Check your emails to see if you qualify for this new offer, running between June 16-22 in 2015, and getting you 4 bonus stars if you purchase any lunch item or select breakfast sandwiches or the Reduced-Fat Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake. You don’t have to opt-in, and you can use the offer as many times as you like during this promotion. The stars will appear in your account within 24 hours of purchase.

Do pay attention to the bonus stars as the Starbucks system is not the most reliable when it comes to promotions, especially if you they more nuanced with items included and excluded like this offer. Still 4 bonus stars is a respectable amount (around $2 in reward redemption value).

If you are a Starbucks Rewards member, check your email to see if you are part of this promotion: between June 12-14 (2015), you can earn 10 bonus stars when you purchase any packaged coffee or two specific Teavana packaged teas (2oz Oprah Chai tins, either the Herbal Blend or the Chai). You don’t have to opt-in for this offer, it will happen automatically. You an use it up to ten times during this promotional period. You must pay with a Starbucks card or app linked to your eligible rewards account.

You earn a reward with 12 stars. With this promotion, you get ten bonus stars plus one regular star. So it’s essentially a reward. If you are planning to use the future to-be-earned reward on a more expensive food or drink ($6+) item, this may be a pretty good deal.

Note for tea fans: the two Oprah Chais that are eligible for this promotion are the most expensive ones. At their website, they go for $15 each. The $9 Teavana teas are NOT eligible for this promotion.

Starbucks is back with yet another promotion for their Rewards members. Between June 9-15 in 2015, you earn 4 bonus stars on any breakfast sandwich (including the Double–Smoked Bacon or the Cheddar & Egg Breakfast Sandwich). This promotion is mentioned in an email sent to Rewards members. These offers may be targeted, so check your emails or app inboxes to see if they are available for you. You can use this offer as many times as you like. The Bonus Stars will be added within 24 hours after a qualifying purchase is made. As usual you must pay with a registered Starbucks Gift Card or the official Starbucks app. The bonus stars are in addition to the regular one star per purchase.
