If you are a fan of prepaid VISA Gift Cards, the recurring rebate promotion is back at Staples stores for the week of March 13-18 in 2016. If you purchase $250 or more in prepaid VISA Gift Cards, you can receive a $20 prepaid VISA Gift Card for FREE via Easy Rebate (you can submit it online; you don’t have to do a mail-in rebate).
The trade-off here is that you have to reach the $250 amount by buying a combination of gift cards with a total activation fee under $20, otherwise, it’s not a money maker. The fees are slightly different depending on the amount, but generally for this to be worth the effort, you have to get to $250 with two or one gift cards. Three of them are very close to $20, which makes it not really worth the effort.
Unless you can find a $300 Unicorn gift card, the best way to get to $250 is a $200 plus a $50 gift card, since their combined activation fee is lower than three $100 gift cards.
Note also that these offers have their fan club, so you may want to go as early as possible before they get scooped up!
