If you don’t want to wait for the Extended Edition boxed set, the third and final movie in the Hobbit series is now on sale for $15 in the Blu-Ray + DVD + Digital HD set from Amazon (limit two per customer). The 3D is not included in this set but most people don’t really care for 3D anyway.
