If you are participating in the Lucky’s Rewards program, good until the end of day on 10/25/15, you will earn double rewards points. This is an automatic promotion, you don’t have to opt-in. So instead of the usual 1%, you earn 2%.
Given the nature of the rewards system (points expire), you are likely to see rewards if you make big purchases or Lucky’s is your primary grocery store. The cash discount rewards start at 300 points, so you must spend $300 (or $150 if you take advantage of this promotion).
However there is still a very good reason to sign-up for their Rewards program, even if you don’t spend enough to earn any rewards: every few weeks, they give you freebies. Real free stuff, you just buy them using your Rewards account, and their cash register automatically makes them free. It’s a fun way to discover/try new products without actually paying for them.
