Good until Saturday night (July 27 in 2015), at Rite Aid brick and mortar stores, if you purchase a $50 Rite Aid gift card, you will receive 500 Plenti points, which are the equivalent of $5 spendable dollars. The limit on this promotion for this week is two, so you can buy two gift cards and get 1000 Plenti points total. Needless to say, you must be a member of the Plenti program before doing this. It is free and fairly simple to join, you can even transfer your previous RiteAid rewards registration over. (see our earlier post on signing up for Plenti).
On top of that, the RiteAid Wellness+ program remains for RiteAid purposes, so you earn double with each purchase. While the Plenti points can be pooled into an account that spans multiple retailers, the Wellness+ remains a RiteAid only program. You are part of both!
Judging by the last few weeks, there seems to be at least one gift card Plenti offer per week, so that’s a good sign if you are a frequent buyer of gift cards. Case in point, this week’s offer, if you are a regular RiteAid shopper, is like a 10% discount on everything you buy in the future with these gift cards.
The other nice thing with Plenti is that you have two very simple ways to spend your rewards in the future, purchases at RiteAid or gas purchases at Mobil. So you can put all your Plenti points towards free gas!
