If you have a Samsung Galaxy device, depending on which device and when and how you purchased it, you may be eligible to a free e-book every month, from a choice of four options that change monthly. To get these, you must needs download the Kindle app from the Samsung Galaxy Apps store (not from Google Play or Amazon). On the plus side, this version works with the S-Pen. You can have both running side by side on your device (a bit awkward but works).
Anyway, the options for September 2015 are:
- “The Thief Taker” by CS Quinn
- “Where the Wind Blows” by Caroline Fyffe
- “What Might Have Been” by Matt Dunn
- “Dis Enchanted” by Robert Kroese
Just like before, all four of them are also part of Kindle Unlimited, so if you have a KU subscription, you can read them through that program.
It is important to note that you should only get them if the price you see is $0.00. If you recently installed the app, it may take a little bit for things to sync, or if you were on a 12-month Perks promotion, it may have expired. So if you don’t see a $0.00 price, it means you will be charged (you can always cancel the order after the fact by going to amazon.com/myk).
