If you are a Starbucks rewards member, check your emails or app inboxes for another new promotion. This one runs from July 14–20 in 2015, and it is very specific, get 4 bonus stars (in addition to the regular one star per purchase) when you buy the Caramel Ribbon Crunch or Smores frappuccinos. Only these two earn the bonus. You can use this offer as many times as you like during this promotion.
It may take up to 24 hours for the bonus stars to get added to your account, but keep an eye out on them. Starbucks has been running a lot of promotions and a few of them are not implemented correctly. Thankfully a quick email to their customer support gets it fixed, but you have to remember what you bought and when to make it easy for them to give you the correct credit. Cross reference your Starbucks Rewards emails for the promotional dates and your Starbucks purchase history for the items that were not properly credited. Submit as many info as possible to help them sort it out. If you have the time/energy to do this 🙂
In parallel, inside the stores, some of those sticker book offers are back. You typically get a little card and a sticker every time you buy an eligible item. If you collect enough stickers, you earn a free drink. This is separate and in addition to the Rewards program, so your purchase earns you more! (I don’t know much about this promotion – ask the cashier/barista for details).
