If you are a fan of scifi and fantasy, a couple of pilots for new TV series are available for free and without ads at Amazon’s Instant Video store. You can get the first episode (42 minutes long) of Ascension (six episode mini-series that may become a full time series later on), and the first episode (22 minutes long) of Galavant by CBS, a parody of high fantasy. This will likely generate renewed interest in Comedy Central’s 2009 Krod Mandoon (of course “Krod” is the reverse of “Dork” with fits quite well with the tone of the TV series!).
NOTE: both Ascension and Galavant were/are airing two episodes back to back, so make sure you don’t miss the second episode if following the TV timeline.
