Kindle First options for July 2015 are up: pick one from four choices

July is here and this means a new round of Kindle First options have gone live. For the whole month of July 2015 (1st until the end of day on the 31st, but don’t wait until the last minute), if you are a Prime member, you can pick exactly one of those four pre-release e-books for FREE. If you are not a Prime member, you have to pay $2 for it. If you like more than one, you have to wait for their general release (August 1st) to purchase them at their regular $5 price, or pick them up from Kindle Unlimited or Prime Lending library if they are available through that.

So, without further delay, here are the four options for July 2015:

  • “The Einstein Prophecy” by Robert Masello in Thrillers
  • “Crooked Little Lies” by Barbara Taylor Sissel in Contemporary Fiction
  • “Cold Black Earth” by Sam Reaves in Suspense
  • “It’s In His Heart (A Red River Valley Novel)” by Shelly Alexander in Romance

As of posting time, none of them have any customer reviews, so if you prefer the wisdom of the masses, you can hold off deciding until some of the fast readers go through them and post reviews.

Personally, I went with the Einstein Prophecy. It looks like the most likely I will attempt to read at some point in the future. Yes, so many books, so little time!

  1. Checked out the new, Kindle First books on Friday, but couldn’t decide. Thought I would sit back and watch the reviews. Today (Saturday), I went to see any progress, and there is no Kindle First link to click on. In its place is something like “Who wants to start reading serials?” (Not me.) Does anyone know what happened to that link? I do have the books that are up this month tucked away in “my wish list” and that’s fine for this month, but is that link down permanently? Is Kindle First not an option any more? I would be really, really mad

    • @Fuzz, I can see the Kindle First page and the four options. You may have run into a web hickup or Amazon doing website maintenance of sorts? The four ebooks currently range between 18 and 47 customer reviews.
