Fossil Men’s Grant 44mm Chronograph Leather Watch for $55 w/FS

If you are a fan of Fossil watches, eBay seller “Watch Gooroo” (99.8%) is offering the new condition with tag Fossil Men’s Grant 44mm Chronograph Leather Watch for $55 with free shipping. Limit five per customer at the sale price. They have three duo-tone color schemes available for purchase. Over 600 units have been sold so far!

Speaking of Fossil, if you are curious about their smartwatches, I had my first smartwatch experience a few weeks ago with the Fossil Explorist Q (third generation), you can find my first and second impressions review, along with the unboxing and proof of no “flat tyre” at our Explorist Q blog posts

Cordcutter Savings: $5 Rite Aid Rewards with $25 Netflix Gift Card

Cordcutters! Did you know you can save on your Netflix monthly fees? You can’t get a direct discount from Netflix, BUT you can buy Netflix gift cards at a discount, and apply them to your own Netflix account. Thus getting an indirect discount!

Which brings us to Rite aid brick and mortar stores. Good until Saturday at the close of business (that’s January 27 in 2018), you can buy a $25 Netflix plastic gift card, and receive $5 back in Rite Aid rewards (which you can begin spending the next morning at Rite Aid). This roundabout promotion is a 20% savings, assuming you’ll have no problem finding things to buy at Rite Aid.

The promotion is limit two per customer for this week, so $50 in Netflix should keep your account running for about 4.5 months if you have the default Netflix plan.

If you don’t want Netflix, fear not! Other retailers are also participating in this promotion, as you can see in the pictures above and below:

Note that the GAP and Best Buy offers are $8 Rewards BUT with the purchase of $50 gift cards, not $25 gift cards. The rest of the retailers (Bass, Cabellas, Dominos, Xbox, etc) participate in the $5 rewards for $25 gift card promotion.

3pk AmazonBasics Water Filters for $9

If you are looking for replacement water filters for Brita or Amazon’s own AmazonBasics pitcher, you are in luck, because as of the time of writing, Amazon actual is offering their own 3pk of AmazonBasics Water Filters for $9, that’s $3.33 per replacement filter. You can buy as many as you like. This is not a subscribe and save, but normal Amazon purchase.

This is product name B06XYGW6DB, since Amazon doesn’t give them actual model names. Check the listing for compatibility and usage info. These have 179 customer reviews with an average of 3.6 out of 5, and they also have 17 answered questions.

Based on this price, the 3pk is actually a better deal than the 6pk and the 10pk. However, the 3-pack is an ADD-ON product, so you MUST place an Amazon order of $25 or more. If not, the shopping cart will refuse to let you buy them no matter what. It’s a stubborn shopping cart 🙂

Activate your Discover Q1 2018 5% Cashback Rewards!

Time sure does fly! It’s time once again to activate your Discover credit card quarterly rewards for the first quarter of 2018, which runs from January 1st until March 31st in the year. There are two main categories for this quarter, Gas Stations (not superstore or supermarket ones) and Wholesale Clubs.

You can activate this from the Discover email announcing it (without the need to login), or you can login to the Discover website or app and activate them at the appropriate place.

The limit of $1500 is per card, so if you have multiple Discover credit cards, the limit for the 5% earnings is $1500 per individual (separate account) credit card.

Spend 1400+ Plenti Points at Exxon, Get 300 Back

This is a great deal if you have a car! If you refill your car at an Exxon-Mobil gas station and spend at least 1400 Plenti Points ($14 equivalent) to pay for your gas refill, you will earn 300 Plenti points back. You have until 12/31/17 to do this. FIRST though you must activate the offer in your Plenti account using their website or app.

This is an awesome offer, assuming you stay close to a $14 refill, eg $15, it’s like getting 20% back! If you don’t have enough points now, Rite Aid is running a lot of weekly gift card Plenti point promotions, so that’s an easy way to stock up on Plenti points. There are many of 500 Plenti points on $25 gift card offers!

Buy $60+ at the Walgreens website, Get 18,000 Rewards Points

A new “Balance Rewards” promotion is running at the Walgreens website. Good until Saturday night (11/18/17), you can get 18,000 Balance Reward points when you make a purchase of $60 or more at their website.

As usual, some exclusions apply. The offer came in an email to the Walgreens customer emailing list.

18,000 Balance Points are redeemable for $20 off a single Walgreens purchase, or you can redeem them for smaller amounts at 1:1 ratio.

Free shipping with orders of $35+ (which you’ll get since the order total for this offer is $60+). But you also have the option for “Ship to Store” if you prefer to pick up from local store(s).

Walgreens: Spend $20+, Get 7000 Balance Rewards points [must activate]

If you are participating in the Walgreens Balance Rewards program, check your email or their website or your app! A new promotion via coupon (you must clip the coupon first before you can earn the bonus) offers you 7000 Bonus Balance Rewards points (that’s $7 equivalent) when you make qualifying purchases of $20+ at their website or their B&M stores!

The promotion runs November 11-17 in 2017, the usual Sunday AM to Saturday PM week that coincides with their Weekly Ad. The promotion may be in the Weekly Ad, I don’t know?

Dockers Men’s Full-Zip French Terry Jacket for $12 [X-Large; Oatmeal]

Inspired by a Larry David style jacket? Do you like the “Oatmeal” color and you are confident you can keep it clean? Then you are in luck, because just $12 can get you the new condition Dockers Men’s Full-Zip French Terry Jacket in the X-Large size only. The other sizes go for a lot more. Given the style of the jacket, you probably have flexibility by getting a larger/smaller size than you usually get.

Limit up to three per customer at the sale price. Since it’s clothing, you get FREE RETURNS if Amazon actual is the seller. And it is in this case.

If “Oatmeal” is not your thing, the X-Large size is going for only a few dollars more in other sizes. The Olympian Blue goes for $14~, while the modest red goes for $15~. The other sizes go for more, so X-Large is the name of the game for this sale 🙂

YMMV: $1 renewal offer for expiring ESPN the Magazine subscriptions

This is YMMV as I have no way of knowing how their computers decide to whom to offer this and when, but if you have an expiring “ESPN The Magazine” subscription, you may get offered by email a promotion to renew it for an extra year for just $1 for that whole year. I’m not even sure if my subscription is expired or expiring as of the time of writing. I think they keep sending magazines, so it must have no expired yet.

I signed up either during a doorbuster magazine promotion or through a T-Mobile freebie, I don’t remember. I have/had no intention of renewing 🙂

Citizen Eco Drive (BL5440-58E) Watch for $337

If you are looking for an analog world, the water resistant and scuba diving friendly Citizen Men’s Signature Collection Eco-Drive Perpetual Calendar Chronograph Watch, aka model BL5440-58E, is currently on sale for $337 with free shipping at Amazon by Amazon actual with up to three per customer during this sale.

This is not a lightning deal, so expiration date is unknown. It averages 4.6 out of 5 based on 14 customer reviews.

Speaking of watches, if you are interested in smartwatches, I have an in-progress review of the Fossil Q Explorist FTW4004 going at our content blog.

Melissa & Doug First Bead Maze for $12 after coupon

We are about two months away from Christmas 2017, and buying for gifts is already in progress for the early planners! A $2 off clip-on coupon at Amazon brings the price of the new condition Melissa & Doug First Bead Maze down from $14 to $12, and Prime eligible.

This is part of their Wooden Educational Toy series and together with their Personalized version, they average 4.4 out of 5 based on nearly 1000 customer reviews and they have 20 answered questions.

Reminder: activate your Discover Q4 Cashback rewards

This is a reminder alert! If you have Discover credit cards, make sure you activate your Q4 5% credit card rewards for 2017! It’s a pretty good get this quarter, it’s Amazon and Target. There is a maximum spending of $1500 per credit card for the quarter, but that’s a $75 cashback bonus, not a small amount!

The quarter runs from October 1st until December 31st in 2017. Unlike the Chase rewards sign-up, the Discover sign-up is NOT retroactive for the quarter. It starts after you activate it. It may take a couple of days for it to kick in, I haven’t tested the exact timing of it because I usually sign up the moment I see the new quarterly offers appear (they usually appear a month before they start).

Here’s a screenshot from their website to remind you:

AMEX Offer: Make $200+ single purchase at Sherwin-Williams, get $50 Back

If you are planning various purchases at Sherwin-Williams brick and mortar stores by mid-December 2017, you may want to group all those purchases into a big $200+ purchase. That’s IF you have an American Express credit card, and IF you go to the AMEX OFFERS section of their website and locate this offer IF you are being offered it in your account.

But if you are, and you accept it, that’s a pretty good cashback amount! If your order total is just over $200 that’s like a 25% off discount. As Larry David likes to say, it’s pretty, pretty, pretty good!

Champion Men’s Open Bottom Jersey pants for $8 [some options only]

Some of the colors and sizes (definitely not all) of the new condition Champion Men’s Open Bottom Jersey pants are on sale for $8. As of the time of writing, among others, the X-Large in the “Oxford Grey” goes for $8, sold and shipped by amazon.com

… which means you get free 2-day shipping as a Prime member (otherwise you need a $25+ order total) but also, because it is a clothing item, you get free returns. Amazon wants to encourage people to buy clothes from their website, thus the free returns policy specifically for clothes.

These 100% cotton pants have been around for a while, they have a review score of 4.1 out of 5 based on over 2000 customer reviews, and have almost 90 answered questions. So everything there is to know about them, has probably already been answered.

When you dig around the Amazon website, both the customer reviews and the answered questions are searchable – if you are looking for specific information. Take a deep breath and then locate their own little search boxes, lost in a sea of all kinds of things that is today’s Amazon product pages 🙂

Kaleidoscope Wonders: Color Art for Everyone for $2.57

If you are looking for a bang for the buck coloring book, in terms of price and time spent to finish it (in other words, you won’t finish in a few minutes, so you have more fun/time with it), you can get the new condition Kaleidoscope Wonders: Color Art for Everyone for just $2.57 at amazon.com. This is a sale price, not a lightning deal.

You can buy as many as you want, up to 80 per shopping cart. This is good if you are planning group activities where you want each person to have their own coloring book. The Amazon Gallery has 28 images showing the designs, so you can tell ahead of time what you are getting.

It is an 8×10 inch kind of a paperback with 48 pages and averages 4.7 out of 5 based on 380+ customer reviews. It is currently the #7 best seller among Adult Coloring Books at amazon.com.

I don’t have this one but will add it to my next Amazon order, especially if I’m dealing with the ADD-ON limit of $25.

Speaking of which, despite the low price, [not to jinx it], this is NOT an Add-On item. This is good news 🙂
