UPDATE: so all you need the app for is to load the offer into your Lucky’s rewards account. You don’t need to use the app in-store. So you can install the app, add the freebie to your card, and uninstall the app. It is horrid permissions-wise (Google Play), and it keeps pestering you to turn on Bluetooth. Why the f*ck does a grocery store app need Bluetooth? Which is why it is a good idea to have a phone running Android 6.0 or later, so you can tame some of the out of control permission grabs!

If you are participating in the Lucky’s Rewards program (it helps if you are near a Lucky’s store), they are back with a new freebie, but this time, you can only claim the freebie using the official Lucky’s app, and you can only redeem it during the weekend. The freebie is a 26oz Teddy’s Root Beer or Ginger Ale. One per customer. You have to claim it using their app, and only on Friday, Saturday or Sunday (March 24-26 in 2017). Enjoy March Madness with a free root beer 🙂

PS: their app is free, you just have to login with your account. If you are worried about permission over-reach, if you are using Android 6.0 or later, you can reign in any permissions you may find objectionable.

It’s back to the freebies for Lucky Rewards members, good until the close of business on Tuesday 10/11/16, you can get a free Red Top Reserve Greek Yogurt just by using your rewards number (or scannable card) at checkout, whether it’s with a cashier or with the self checkout. The only thing you need to do is check your Lucky’s Rewards email and press the big ole red button there to add the offer to your account. Once you do that, you are good to go!

Limit one yogurt per customer during this promotion. You don’t even have to buy anything else from the store, although Miss Manners would argue that you have to buy at least one other item 🙂

As usual, first you must add the freebie to your account which is easy to do, simply press the big ole red button in the Lucky’s email that mentions this promotion. You can verify it’s there by going to your Lucky’s Rewards account.

The freebie is your choice, either Chips or Popcorn, all sizes and varieties available, from the Lucky’s house brand “Market Essentials”. Which is why they are so generous with this offer, since it’s their own 🙂 It is a while-supplies-last promotion, but if they happen to run out, you can try asking for a rain-check.

If you love bread rolls but want to avoid wheat and gluten, AND if you are a Lucky’s Rewards member, good until Tuesday 8/9/16 closing time, you can get a free packages of BFree Rolls (four of them). As usual, you have to add the offer to your Lucky’s Rewards account by clicking on the big red button in the email mentioning the offer.

No purchase is necessary to get the freebie, although Miss Manners would suggest buying at least something to balance the freebie 🙂 If you are using self-checkout, an employee is needed to punch in numbers at the self-checkout for the freebie.
