… especially when you consider that the Galaxy S6 took away the microSD slot and the removable battery, assuming of course you value those features a lot. As of the time of writing, over 600 units were sold from this particular eBay offering. If I had a $250 eBay Gift Card, I would be next 🙂

IF you are part of the Fry’s Electronics emailing list, your Sunday promo code can get you the prepaid Motorola Moto G smartphone (no contract) for $40 instead of $50. The website appears to be out of stock, so this is good only if are near a Fry’s brick and mortar stores. This offer is mentioned on the upper half of their weekly ad. The promo codes are personalized in that they can’t be reused, so your best bet is to sign up because the ones posted online have probably been used up already.

PS: the ad does not say which carrier, but judging by other recent offers, this may be Verizon (purely guessing).

If you are looking for the Samsung Galaxy S3 to use as a media player or for experimentation or as a phone with a low cost monthly fee, for a limited time, Groupon Goods is offering the certified pre-owned Samsung Galaxy S3 for the Freedom Pop network, in either blue or white, for $90 with free shipping, with free returns, and a 90 day warranty from Freedom Pop (warranty not from Samsung).

This is a 4G LTE phone which is good, because the Sprint 4G WiMax service that Freedompop relies on is being dismantled and will be dead as a doornail before the end of 2015. Freedompop’s monthly plans include a free option, but when you activate, pay attention to the various 30-day premium feature free trials. If any of those are activated and you don’t need them, you have to manually turn them off if you don’t want to pay any monthly fees.
