They have both loose leaf and tea bag options. Some teas have both, but most of them are either one or the other. Their website not only carries tea tins, but there you can also buy some of their teas in bulk bags of either 1/2 lb or 1 lb.

Some of their teas are carried at some grocery stores and specialty retailers. It is likely that at some point (if they haven’t done already) those retailers too will put them on sale. Typically you’ll find tea bags there.

Treat Receipt returns at Starbucks on July 27

It must be summertime because the Treat Receipt is back at Starbucks! During this incarnation, if you present a receipt from earlier in the day, after 2pm local time, you can get any grande cold drink for $2.50. The promotion runs July 27 until August 9 for everyone (you don’t have to be a Rewards member for this offer). But Rewards members get an extra week, for them, the offer expires August 16 in 2015 instead.

If you haven’t done this before, it’s fairly simple. You get your Starbucks receipt before 2pm (any purchase qualifies, big or small). Then visit again during the same day after 2pm, show them the before-2pm-receipt, and get any grande cold drink for $2.50. Considering how expensive some of their drinks are, this can easily be 50% or even less the standard price.

TIP: you can visit at 1:30pm, get something, get the treat receipt, and after 2pm, get a $2.05 cold grande beverage. So if you don’t have to technically visit twice, just buy something before and after 2pm. Because of lines and clock differences, don’t wait until 1:55pm to do this 🙂
