25% off Star Trek Beyond Digital Copy with Vudu coupon for T-Mobile customers

If you previously redeemed any of the Vudu $5.50 store credit offers through T-Mobile Tuesdays, check your email address that is associated with your Vudu account. You may find a unique coupon code that gets you 25% off the current price of the brand new “Star Trek Beyond” movie. The current price for the HDX (1080p) digital copy is $20, so the coupon make it $15.

vudu_startrek_beyond

The coupon must be used by 10/17/16 at 11:59pm ET and can only be used once and only for this particular title.

Regardless of where you buy the movie, Vudu is planning a Viewing Party using the social media hashtag “#VuduViewingParty” at 9pm Eastern on Friday 10/7/16. Vudu won’t be airing the movie, you have to own it on your own and play it on your own, and follow people’s commentary using the social media hashtag.

AmazonFresh now $15/month with 30-day Free Trial and $25/$75+ coupon

If you want to try out AmazonFresh or want to use it on a seasonal basis (eg around the holidays or when specific seasonal fruits/veggies come out), they have launched a new promotion, you can now sign-up on a month to month basis. You still have to be a Prime member before you set a virtual foot in the door. The monthly fee is $15 per month, which comes out to $180 per year, in addition to the standard $100/year Prime membership fee. So it’s still slightly cheaper than $299 AmazonFresh membership. You also get a 30-day free trial.

Better yet, if you haven’t done this before, you can use promo code FRESH25 to get $25 off an order of $75 or more. Deliveries are free with orders of $40+, so if you typically have small orders, this won’t help. AmazonFresh has a mix of fresh and packaged items, so you buy items from the latter if purchases in the former are not $40+. The coupon offer expires 12/31/16.

amazonfresh_offer

AmazonFresh has exclusivity of fresh foods at Amazon, but for other, packaged foods, things are more complicated, because you can buy packaged foods in different quantities and different prices in this many different ways:

  • regular Amazon.com purchase
  • Subscribe and Save purchase (often ships from maker)
  • Prime Pantry
  • Prime NOW
  • AmazonFresh

Time for some spreadsheet action to sort them all out 🙂

12pk Pepsi Cola 1893 Ginger Cola under $10 with coupon

If you are on the Cola Revival bandwagon, there is both a sale and a coupon happening at the moment at Amazon on the 12-pack of Pepsi Cola 1893 Ginger Cola. There is a 20% off Clip-On coupon there, and the coupon is good for one-time purchase and Subscribe-and-Save. As of posting time, the prices are $12 and $11.40 respectively BEFORE the 20% off coupon is factored in. Note that prices can and do change often, so YMMV…

Free Shipping at Teavana with Coupon (no minimum!)

This doesn’t happen often, so don’t miss this if you are a fan of the Teavana website! They have a rare coupon that gets you free shipping with no minimum purchase amount! That’s right, coupon code YAYFALL gets you free shipping on anything you buy, good until 9/26/16.

If you already have favorites there, you know what to do, but if you feel like exploring and/or bargain-hunting, be sure to check their Sales page that has a mix of brewing equipment and teas and containers on sale, including a $2.25 tea container (macaroon shaped), loose leaf tea as low as $4 for 2 oz and more.

Tyrion Quote T-Shirt for $6.25 w/free S&H [COUPON]

If you are a Game Of Thrones fan, there’s a coupon deal for you, especially if you love Tyrion’s quips. The graphic t-shirt with the quote “That’s What I Do I Drink And I Know Things” printed on the front (the back is empty) drops to $6.25 with free shipping (not Prime eligible) at Amazon.com with coupon code GOTSHIRT when you buy from the seller “Rock Data Liquidators”.

tyrion_tshirt

It is available in eight different sizes, and has multiple sizes to pick from. The expiration date of the coupon is unknown.

If you are not sure which color to get, keep in mind, RED is the official color of House Lannister. Unless you believe in the Tyrion Secret Targaryen crackpot theories, in which case, you can select a more Targaryen color [the red is probably still the closest, unless you have an additional crackpot theory that Tyrion will bond/ride the green or creamy dragon in which case you have those two colors too].

36 pouches of Nature Valley Granola Bars Variety Pack for $9.50 after coupon

Granola bar deal time! If you like the Nature Valley trio of flavors (Oats’n’Honey, Maple Brown Sugar, and Peanut Butter), there is a nice coupon deal of this option, it’s a 3-pack of 12-pouch variety packs. Each pouch has two thin bars inside, that’s why they call it a 24-pack. So you get 36 pouches which translates to 72 thin bars. The price is currently $12.63 at Amazon.com. Then you hit that green “Clip 25% off Coupon” button, and the price drops by 25% to around $9.50. This is the one time purchase price. Screenshot of that below:

nature_valley_coupon

If you are willing to do “Subscribe and Save”, it is 25% off $12, which makes it $9 for the whole thing.

So to boil it down to grocery store price comparison, the 36 pouches are the equivalent of six standard grocery packs (six pouches of 12 total bars inside). For those, $2 or less is a good price, so anything under $12 for the same amount is a good deal!

A good deal unless you are willing those big Costco and Smart and Final type of mega-packs 🙂

NOTE: the coupon is a limited time offer but it doesn’t say when it expires.

AmazonFresh $25 off first order with Free Trial and coupon

IF you have never done an AmazonFresh free trial before, they have a new promotion, you can start your free trial and get $25 off your first order at Amazon Fresh with coupon code 25FRESHOFFER entered in the shopping cart. Only select customers in select regions where this is available are eligible for the offer. If you don’t see the offer on the link above, it means you are not eligible for the offer.

Offer ends 9/30/16. Keep in mind AmazonFresh has a $299 annual fee, so if you start a free trial, make sure you cancel it if the service doesn’t work for your needs. The $299 includes the standard Prime membership, so if you are already a Prime member, this is “only” $200 more per year 🙂

YMMV $25 off a $50+ Amazon purchase if you pay with American Express Membership Points

If you have an American Express credit card that is participating in the Membership Points, there’s a hot new promotion running at Amazon until 12/31/16 that gets you $25 off a purchase of $50+ of items sold and shipped by Amazon actual (not by marketplace sellers) IF you pay (at least partially) with your American Express Membership points.

You don’t even have to pay for the full order amount with AMEX points. You can select how many points you want to use. This is important because the exchange rate is not favorable. One AMEX Point is the equivalent of less than a penny.

If you have eligible credit cards in your account, you will see this offer while adding items to your shopping cart or advancing to the checkout page.

NOTE: this promotion is YMMV as it may be targeted to customers with AMEX Membership Points in their account and it may be further sub-targeted based on whatever factors Amazon’s computers use to decide to offer these things. I have no way of knowing how many people are eligible…

20% off Digital Movie Purchase at Google Play

Google Play is running a new promotion, you can get 20% off the purchase of one digital movie. The offer can be found through their emails, with a big hint in the email title, “Introducing Family Library with 20% off any movie purchase”. Or you may find it while browsing around the different sections of the semi-organized Google Play store 🙂

Screenshot of the popup below:

20off_gplay_movie

Once you manually activate the coupon on your account (you just have to press the button), it will be applied automatically to your next purchase. IF not used, it expires 8/31/16.

YMMV eBay Sellers: Get 50% back in Sales (up to $50)

eBay is running a new targeted (I think) promotion to reactivate eBay users who haven’t listed items in recent months/years. This promotion is sent to qualifying customers to their emails and/or eBay Messages (depending on how your communication preferences are setup), and to join in, you have to manually click on the blue “Claim Offer” button in the email, and after you do that, you have to click on the green “Activate Offer” button. Once you do all that, you will get a confirmation message that the offer is active on your account.

The terms are simple as you can see from the screenshot above, with the important things underlined.

100pk Stash Lemon Ginger Herbal Tea under $9 with coupon

Last week we spotted a good deal on the Stash Licorice 100pk, but that’s not all! Also running with a 20% off clip-on coupon at Amazon is the 100pk of Stash Lemon Ginger Herbal Tea. The price before you add the clip-on coupon is $10.95. After you add the 20% off coupon, it drops to $8.76. This is the one-time purchase.

If you are willing to do a “Subscribe and Save” (SaS), you can save an extra 5% or 15% off, depending on how many SaS items you have going on. Personally I don’t want to have to worry about adjusting or cancelling SaS orders, so I just do the one-time purchase unless the discounts are significant enough.

The shipping terms are as usual, free with Prime or with a $49+ order or with SaS. Keep in mind SaS is not Prime eligible, so if you hate slow shipping, keep that in mind.

PS: this is the Subscribe and Save store that shows all the eligible items and promotions. There are close to 100,000 eligible items (!!!).

PS2: if you are not familiar with how all these work, here’s a screenshot below of the SaS listing, with arrows pointing to all the locations on the website you have to pay attention to. The Subscribe and Save overlay is when you click on the “Details” link over there…

100pk Stash Licorice Spice Tea for under $9 w/coupon

It’s tea time! If you like licorice flavored tea and Oregon’s Stash brand, for a limited time, Amazon has a 20% off clip-on on the 100-pack of the Licorice Spice bringing it down to under $9 for a one-time purchase, and slightly less if you do a Subscribe and Save. This is Prime-eligible, so even if you buy this item and nothing else, you still get free 2-day shipping (assuming you are a member).

This is not just licorice, there’s a number of other items included, check picture #3 in the gallery over there to see them all. There are many flavors on the same review page, so if you want to read reviews for this flavor one, here’s the link that has all 195 of them for this model (out of over 4000 total).

Prime Pantry Free Shipping with Coupon and Purchase of Five Eligible items

A new month brings multiple “gifts” for Prime members. One is the free pre-release e-book. Another is a new coupon code for free Prime Pantry shipping. This month (August 2016) coupon code PANTRYAUG gets you free shipping if you buy five items from this long list of eligible products. You don’t have to buy five different items, you can also buy five units of a single item, or any combination. You will see the free shipping appear in your shopping cart once you have enough eligible items there.

If you find enough items above to get free shipping, here are a few PrimePantry items that are a good deal as of the time of writing (the ones below don’t qualify for the five free shipping requirement)

$25 off first AmazonFresh order with coupon

If you have never placed an AmazonFresh order before, but you are willing to start a free trial, they have a coupon promotion to entice you, coupon 25FRESHOFFER gets you $25 off the total of your first order. This only includes products from AmazonFresh, not from third-party sellers or gift cards. This must be purchased in one order and limit of one coupon per customer. The promotion is good until 9/30/16.

More details on the offer at the Promotional page.

TL;DR: AmazonFresh is a more expensive version of Prime. It includes the standard Prime along with the grocery door delivery service. This should not be confused with PrimePantry which is part of the regular Prime membership but has a $6 flat delivery fee. And then there’s Subscribe And Save, which is not part of Prime, and everyone can use. And the oldest of all, buying groceries at Amazon like any other item. Deconfused or did I make it worse? 🙂
